YHA’s waiting list for Housing Choice Voucher is closed Using a random lottery drawing, 100 applicants were chosen for the current waiting list in 2024. If your tenant code is listed, your application was selected in the lottery, and have been placed on the waiting list. Placement on the waiting list does not indicate that you are eligible for assistance. Applicants added to the waiting list will be contacted by YHA to verify eligibility as vouchers become available. If your tenant code is not listed, then your application was not selected in the lottery and your name will not be placed on the waiting list. You must reapply when YHA conducts another lottery drawing.
YHA does not know when the waiting list will be re-open in the future.
Housing Choice Vouchers are funded by the federal government. YHA manages this federal program and has a limited number of vouchers to distribute.
