Housing Abuse Report

If you suspect someone is fraudulently receiving rental assistance, you can report it to the Yakima Housing Authority by completing the Program Abuse and Fraud Reporting Form or calling our office at 509-453-3106.

Fraudulent activity may include:

Unreported income
Unreported people in the household
Drug use
Criminal activity; or
Violence

You may submit your report anonymously, and all information provided is confidential.

Due to confidentiality rules, YHA cannot provide updates on the progress or outcome of an investigation.

When filling out the form, please provide detailed information.

Include the person’s name, address and specific information regarding the alleged fraudulent activity, such as: the names of unauthorized people living in an assisted unit, car license plate numbers, name and address of employer, or the dates of arrest.
