What is Chuck Austin Place?

Chuck Austin Place (CAP) is more than a housing facility — it’s a supportive, veteran-centered community. Operated by Yakima Housing Authority, CAP combines permanent supportive housing for veterans with a full suite of onsite services and resident programming, in collaboration with local partners.

From community meals to healthcare access, Chuck Austin Place is designed to honor and serve those who have served our country.
